Discover the all new Barbour Archive Collection – a range of wax and quilted jackets for both men and women developed exclusively for Country Attire.
The Barbour story began in 1894 when John Barbour set up his first shop in the burgeoning port of South Shields, in the North East of England providing oilskins to sailors, fishermen, river men and dockers to protect from the worst of the North Sea weather. Now 122 years old, Barbour has built up an extensive archive of jackets from across the decades, the oldest of which date back to 1910.
Our design team has selected some of the most iconic styles from the archive to provide the inspiration for this very special Barbour Archive Collection. Combining heritage with modernity, these are timeless collectable pieces that no wardrobe should be without.
