Behind the Scenes at CA Fashion Evening
Last night, Country Attire HQ was open after hours for a jam-packed evening of fun, fizz and fashion!
For one night only, we invited Manchester's fashion-blogging elite and social media glitterati to our offices for an evening of festive treats ahead of the Christmas season.
Taking centre stage at the event was the brand new range of Country Attire wax and tweed jackets, which have been met with a rapturous response since their launch a little over five weeks ago. Our guests were invited to take a close up look and try on the jackets, as well as style them however they pleased using a plethora of premium brand products from our warehouse to create cutting-edge looks.
We were also fortunate enough to be paid a visit by the designer and creator of the range herself, Kathryn Pow, who travelled up from Somerset to talk our guests through the unique features and inspiration behind the Country Attire collection.
Bringing a touch of glam to the proceedings was local makeup artist Clare Cherry of Ms Cherrie Makeup, who worked her magic on our guests (and a few staff!), creating stunning sparkly looks perfect for the party season.
Guests were served a selection of canapés including miniature duck spring rolls, chilli chicken skewers, mini steak pasties, goats cheese tartlets, glittering mince pies and Country Attire cupcakes, while spiced mulled wine and chilled Prosecco kept the evening well lubricated!
After two-and-a-bit hours of fun, it was time for us to shut up shop and head home. But not before our guests had been handed their Christmas-stocking-themed Country Attire gift bags, containing Country Attire lip balm, miniature nail polish, a butterfly branded pin and our own home-made Christmas pudding flavoured vodka, all wrapped up in a pair of Hunter welly socks!
Safe to say a great night was had by all...and we can't wait to repeat it!
