FREE UK RETURNS WITH ROYAL MAIL

We just want you to be happy with your purchase, so we try to keep our returns process simple:
Simply obtain the returns label from the link above, complete the returns form with the parcel, repackage the goods and stick the returns label on; then return the parcel to us, within 21 days of receipt, via your local post office at no further cost to yourself.

All UK orders over £40 are delivered FREE of charge. For orders over this value, the price you see on the product description page is the price you pay at checkout unless an upgraded delivery option is selected.

Orders below the value of £40 are subject to a small delivery charge, starting at £2.95, depending on which service you select at checkout.

For all orders of a value between £40 and £100 we offer a free tracked two business day delivery service with Royal Mail. Orders between these values can be upgraded to a next business day service for as little as £1.95.

Orders valued between £100 and £200 will be delivered free of charge on a tracked, next business day delivery service with Royal Mail. Orders between these values can be upgraded to a Premium or Nominated Day service for as little as £1.95.

When you spend over £200 with us your order will be delivered using our premium, fully tracked, next business day delivery service with our courier DPD*. This is a signature service and will require somebody available to take delivery, though there are a variety of ‘in flight’ delivery options (through the DPD website or app) to help redirect your parcel – including the ability to leave the parcel with a neighbour or attempt delivery on a different day or to deliver to a DPD chosen local shop.

*Some remote areas and offshore destinations will receive orders from alternative delivery services where usual options are not available to us, and this alteration will be indicated when selecting your delivery service at checkout.

We also offer a simple way to select your delivery day at checkout. This additional service is included free of charge for all orders which are placed using the DPD Next Working day delivery service.

Working all week? How about a Saturday or Sunday delivery?
You can choose to have your order delivered on a Saturday or Sunday at an additional cost of between £4.95 and £7.95 at checkout, depending on the value of your order. These services are available for selection from Monday to 4pm UK time on Friday. Your order is passed to our courier DPD to be delivered on your chosen weekend day.

Orders placed up to 4pm UK time on a weekday (excluding Bank Holidays) are dispatched the same day; although some orders may be delayed by security checks, particularly if delivery is not selected to the cardholder’s address or place of work. During extremely busy periods, such as just before Christmas, it may not be possible to meet this cut off time. In addition we have two exceptional days - Christmas Eve (24th December) and New Year’s Eve (31st December) when the order cut-off time is 12pm (midday) UK time, we do not despatch if these days fall over a weekend..

Tracking number(s) will be provided in your confirmation email once your order has been dispatched. Please note; tracking numbers will activate the evening of the day that the order has been dispatched. Orders placed after 16:00 on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday (or next working day if Monday is a UK public holiday).

All parcels sent with DPD will also receive an email the morning of delivery and a text (if a UK mobile number is supplied at checkout), which will provide you with an estimated one hour delivery window within which your parcel should be delivered. We are happy to deliver to your work address if home delivery is not convenient.

Your order will be dispatched in a padded envelope, a strong bag or a bespoke cardboard box, depending on the product(s) purchased. Any date provided for delivery should be considered as indicative, it is our policy to dispatch all orders placed by 4pm UK time on the same day during Monday to Friday working week (excluding Bank Holidays), but this cannot be absolutely guaranteed. Country Attire Ltd. cannot be held responsible for delays to deliveries caused by couriers or any other third party.

Country Attire provides FREE RETURNS on all orders inside the UK. A Royal Mail, pre-paid returns label can be obtained from our Royal Mail returns page

Royal Mail returns are via a “48 hour” (two business day) tracked service and you will be provided with a tracking number (referenced as ‘Barcode Number’) on your proof of postage by the Post Office counter, giving you full peace of mind. Please retain this receipt for insurance purposes.

We provide FREE worldwide delivery on every order over the value of £40, using our standard delivery option. For orders over this value, the price you see on the product description page is the price you pay at checkout unless an upgraded delivery option is selected. Our standard global delivery service is a non-tracked, fully insured service which usually takes between 3 and 14 business days to arrive, depending on the destination country. This may take up to a maximum of 35 business days in rare cases, please contact our customer service team if this is the case for your delivery and we will endeavour to help.

*Due to distribution restrictions, we are unable to send Barbour products outside the EEA, please see the bottom part of this section for full details.

For orders below £40 in value, there is a delivery charge of £2.95 for our standard service. Any order below £100 in value can be upgraded to a faster, fully tracked service for £6.95 at checkout.

For orders over £100 in value with a delivery address outside the UK we upgrade you FREE of charge to the faster, fully tracked service. These parcels are sent with either DPD our chosen partner (depending on eligibility; based on your chosen delivery country, as well as size and weight of your purchased product(s)), and usually takes between 2 and 12 business days to arrive (approximate delivery times can be found at checkout).

Please note that due to restrictions on the size and weight of international parcels, occasionally orders which total over £100 in value but contain multiple large items (such as wellington boots) may have to be split into several parcels in order for us to send them to you. However, each parcel which totals over £100 in value will still be sent with a tracking reference, though parcels below this value will not. If you are ordering multiple, low value, bulky items and would like to ensure your entire order is sent by tracked service, please contact our customer care team for more information.

Orders placed up to 16:00 UK time are dispatched the same day; although some orders may be delayed by security checks, particularly if delivery is not selected to the cardholder’s address or place of work. Most of our items are guaranteed by the manufacturer against defects in normal use for a minimum of one year, though many items carry a longer warranty and there are a very small number of exceptions - please refer to your original packaging, or contact the Customer Care Team if you’re unsure.

We do not offer an exchange service, any items that are sent back to us will be refunded in full. If you require a variation of a product (different size, colour etc.) please place a new order.

Customers based in the United Kingdom can use the FREE POST return label, please visit our Royal Mail returns page to obtain yours.

We have a 21-day returns period. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return the complete product(s) undamaged in an unused, "as new" condition within 21 days of the date of receipt and we will refund your purchase price. Returned items should be tagged and with original packaging, if applicable. Returns that are worn and damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted back and may be sent back to the customer. Footwear must be tried on a carpeted surface so as not to damage the footwear. Footwear returned without a box, in a damaged box or with marked soles may not be accepted, and may be sent back to the customer. Underwear, swimming costumes and bikini bottoms should be tried on over underwear. Returns may not be accepted if the product includes a protective adhesive strip and it has been removed.

If you have received a free gift with your purchase and require a refund, the gift will also need to be returned before a refund can be issued.

If item(s) arrive back with us more than 21 days after being received, full store credit will be issued, credit can be redeemed against any other items and does not have a time limit on use.

When returning items from outside of the UK, Country Attire is not responsible for any return postage costs accrued from sending items back to us. Packages should be marked clearly as ‘RETURNED BRITISH GOODS’, this information should also be entered on any customs declaration that is required.

For items purchased as Christmas presents we extend the returns period to the 15th of January for items purchased from the 1st of November to the 24th of December.

When returning faulty goods with a defect discovered in the first 28 days after receipt you will be entitled to a full refund or exchange plus your (reasonable) postage costs to send the item(s) back to Country Attire. For faulty items - still under manufacturer's warranty - where the defect is reported after 28 days, we will repair or replace the item if a repair is not possible or practical.

If we cannot replace the item because it is discontinued or out of stock, we will offer an alternative of similar or greater value, or store credit to the full value of the faulty item. Please be aware products that are returned as faulty may be returned to the manufacturer for investigation before we are able to issue a refund or replacement, or to repair the item.

Please contact us before returning faulty items and we will supply either a free post label, collect the items or advise on the best return method.

Returns from inside the UK

Customers based in the United Kingdom can use the FREE POST return label, please visit our Royal Mail returns page to obtain yours.

  • 1. Go to our Royal Mail returns page at https://www.royalmail.com/track-my-return/create/2487
  • 2. Select "Box/bag" and click "YES"
  • 3. Fill in the form with your details and press "Make Your Label"
  • 4. The next confirmation screen will have a red button saying "Download Label" which you can use to get the label onto your device. You will also receive an email from the Royal Mail with the label.

    If you do not have access to a printer, the email contains a QR code which can be scanned from your device screen by the clerk at the Post Office. Just show the email on your device screen to the clerk and they will be able to print a label for you.

  • 5. Once you have the label and have affixed it to your return parcel, the parcel can be taken to any Post Office and handed to the clerk.

Proof of postage must be obtained – as without this proof no claim can be made for items lost or damaged in transit.

All returns should be accompanied by a proof of purchase, e.g. your packing slip or invoice, or a printout/handwritten details of your order if no packing note was enclosed.

Please note: if no details are included with your return it will delay the processing of your return.

If the total value of the goods you are returning to us from the UK exceeds £500 you should contact us and we will make alternative arrangements for the return of the goods.

It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the item(s) arrive with us safely and in a saleable state with all tags and bags present, non-UK customers must also pay the cost of returning the item(s) to us. If any parcels are lost, stolen or damaged in transit when returned, it is the customer's responsibility to claim from the relevant carrier company for their loss.

Returns from outside the UK should be marked clearly as ‘RETURNED BRITISH GOODS’, this information should also be entered on any customs declaration that is required. Country Attire reserves the right to refuse any returned parcel that has attracted a customs charge.

When trying goods that may be returned please take care; once goods are soiled they cannot be considered for exchange or credit.
